Willie Barkhuizen is the Department Manager for Human Resources Business
Service Management at Sasol Secunda Shared Services. Willie's portfolio
provides eight major categories of human recourses services: workforce planning;
Sasol employee orientation and on-boarding; overseeing the Sasol Institute of Learning;
organisation development, human resources development and transformation; employee wellness;
rewards and benefits programmes; and industrial relations advice and support services.

Member of the Board, Dr LH Mathunyane is the Municipal Manager of Govan Mbeki.

A few of Dr Muthunyane responsibilities at the Municipality for this region are mentioned:

• Manage all human and physical resources, including finances.
• Manage the implementation, maintenance and evaluation of policy, programs and systems for educational support services.
• Co-ordinate the effective management of teacher centre and circuits
• Appoint staff and manage labour relations.
• Handles all official communications and publications.

Dr Muthunyane has held many positions over the years including, Education Regional Director (Gert Sibande Region); Deputy Chief Education specialist (Witbank) and has been Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Department and Teacher to various Schools.

Dr Muthunyane is also Deputy Chairperson to Highveld Educational Trust and Sasol Educational and Development Trust.

Velaphi Gumbi is the CEO of Osizweni. He provides strategic support and leadership to the team responsible for the operational functions of the Centre.

Maureen Mboshane is the Acting Department Manager for Corporate Services at Sasol Secunda Shared Services. Her role involves overseeing a multitude of diverse functions which is supported by this department. These include corporate social investment, corporate marketing, sports administration and management, skills park, communications, stakeholder relations, strategy and planning.

Moses Ramokhothoane is the Senior Plant Manager at the Twistdraai Export plant, Sasol Mining. He is responsible for receiving and processing coal from underground operations. Moses is also involved in maintaining relations with internal and external customers.

Ruth Motsatsi has been the Principal of Basizeni Special School based in Embalenhle since 1994. Ruth represents the Departments Authority at school level and is very involved in fundraising, she also ensures the smooth running of the school and instils the correct educational programs.

Ruth has served on the South African Association for Intellectually Impaired (SASA_II) from the year 2000, she has held many positions on the association including, Games Director of National Games for Intellectually Impaired; National Treasurer; and currently holds the title of National Deputy President of the Association.

Vanessa Smit has been employed by Standard Bank for 18 years and currently holds the position of Account Executive at Standard Bank Business Banking.

The Bank specialises in providing financial assistance to Commercial Businesses. Vanessa is passionate about banking and interacting with customers, she also enjoys the complex structures in the business environment.

Vanessa has completed a Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Banking and is currently studying towards a Higher Diploma in Banking.

Nokuthula Mthethwa is the Director and the Head of Gert Sibande Regional Office. She is responsible for 18 Circuits, 559 schools, 247 307 learners, 10 132 educators and administrative staff at schools found in the Eerstehoek, Ermelo and Standerton areas. She is also responsible for the administration and management of the 753 staff attached to all offices of the Department in the Region.

Her responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Overseeing the curriculum management in schools and in the region, to manage the provision and maintenance of all financial, physical and human resources to institutions in the Region, facilitate the continuous development of self-managing educational institutions, the management of all examinations in schools, the maintenance and implementation of all education policies in the region, is the accounting officer on behalf of the Region and accounts to the Head of the Department of education for all policy and financial mandates of the Region

Joe Dhlamini is the Director and founder of Jomele Personnel Consultants.

Joe serves as the chairperson of National African Federated Chamber of Commerce (NAFCOC) in the Gert Sibande District Municipality and is an executive member of NAFCOC provincially.

He is also a member of the Black Management Forum, he is the Chairperson of Vaal University of technology Committee at the Secunda satellite campus and the Deputy Chairperson of the Business Forum in the Govan Mbeki Municipality.
