COMPUTER LITERACY

An eight-week computer literacy course is offered to learners and members of the community in the Gert Sibande district. The course is held at various times throughout the year at two venues: the Osizweni Science Centre and a second venue in eMbalenhle.

The computer literacy course equips learners and community members with vital computer skills so necessary in today’s world and job market. Students discover the wonders of the Internet, learn how email works and are introduced to foundational computer programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

On completion of the course, attendees are given a certificate of proficiency along with vital skills that can greatly help them in life.
